A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a Morgan County crash at 28404 Holt Road on May 2, 2026.
A 2021 Volkswagen Atlas, driven by a 47-year-old St. Charles woman, was attempting to climb a hill when a 40-year-old pedestrian woman, also from St. Charles, was pushing the vehicle from behind. The driver placed the vehicle in reverse, accelerated, and hit the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was airlifted to University Hospital with serious injuries.
