A crash in Cole County on US-54 East at Gray Road resulted in 2 adults being injured on May 1, 2026.
A 2021 GMC Yukon, driven by 57-year-old Waynesville woman, struck the rear of a 2025 Honda CR-V, driven by a 50-year-old man from Ozark. The GMC then traveled off the right side of the road, struck a highway sign, and a tree.
The driver of the GMC suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to University Hospital. The passenger of the Honda, a 37-year-old female from Ozark, was also transported by ambulance to Capital Region Hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
Rear-end collisions are one of the most common types of car accidents, but that doesn’t mean they’re minor. These crashes can cause serious injuries like whiplash, back pain, and long-term discomfort, often with symptoms that don’t fully appear until days later. Even when fault seems obvious, insurance companies may still try to downplay your injuries or offer less than you need to recover. Having a personal injury attorney can help ensure your claim is taken seriously, your rights are protected, and you’re not pressured into accepting an unfair settlement. If you’ve been injured in a rear-end crash, don’t handle it on your own—contact Daniel Finder at Finder Law, LLC today to discuss your case and get the representation you deserve.
